Packing system
A few people have asked how we get bikes in the plane - here are two photos for explanation.
This is the back seat with all the camping gear removed - food, tools and flight planning kit;
The bikes fold like this and go in on top with the camping gear packed in around them. We have everything in roll top sacks of various sizes for organisation and compartmentalisation to make use of the gaps!
We have a bike trailer which we can assemble and load all the camping gear onto. This is useful if we can't camp under the wing (as we expect tonight at Bergen) and have to go remote. It may be helpful for fetching fuel in due course if we get really wild and woolly.
